Apparently, Grocery Stores will no longer have “stocking up” sales. These will hereafter be referred to as “hoarder sales.” I have yet to score a single roll of toilet paper since the virus crisis began. It’s a good thing I was taught long ago to stock up on certain items.
Perhaps, when people refer to hoarders, they are not including the normal shopper who buys an extra roll or case of toilet paper, until AFTER the shortages are evident. I hope my supply lasts until the shortages and the crisis are over. If not, I’ve got rags and a washing machine until the electricity is gone.
Remember New Orleans? I won’t say this is the ultimate reference but here is the FEMA recommendations for prepping. May be some good advice: https://www.fema.gov/pdf/library/f%26web.pdf
And hubby has some thoughts on toilet paper, too. https://www.bitterrootbugle.com/2020/04/11/free-market-in-toilet-paper/
